During COVID-19, there has been the ongoing question: is it okay to eat out?
Well today, my family and I decided to just go for it. We haven’t eaten out in around 3 months, and we figured that we probably weren’t going to get a chance to eat out again. So, we decided to order some Cheesecake Factory. We got the Chicken Bellagio, the Orange Chicken, the Chicken Pot Stickers, and a kids pizza with bacon on top.
When the food arrived, my parents decided to stick it all in the oven to try and kill all of the possible germs on it. This made the food taste a little different than usual, but it had the same overall taste.
So, my answer to this ongoing question, would be to pace yourself. If you want to eat out once a month, go for it. But I wouldn’t do it excessively so that you can prevent getting sick.
Today, I went to the mall with my friend. And while scouring the food court for someplace yummy to eat, we fount the Ruby Thai Kitchen.
First, we got the Thai Fried Rice. It was delicious fried rice with corn, peas, and carrots, and the rice was a nice, tender consistency, and had a great taste. We also had some sweet and sour chicken, and fried shrimp and veggies, which was also delicious.
Another great thing is that they had Apple Pay all set up. You could pay with your phone, and it was quick and easy to do.
I really enjoyed the Ruby Thai Kitchen, and would definitley go back a second time.
Yesterday, while on the road with my family, my Dad insisted that we try Chick-Fil-A for the first time. Now, I knew that Chick-Fil-A had been getting a lot of hype in the past year, but I had never tried it. So, I figured that this was my opportunity to figure out what the hype was all about.
So, after we ordered takeout, and we began to eat, I realized that Chick-Fil-A really isn’t all that. Though the chicken strips there aren’t actually that bad, the foods that incorporate the chicken with other ingredients, for example the spicy chicken sandwich, could’ve been executed a little better, and could’ve tasted a little better too. Also, I wasn’t a huge fan of their waffle fries, or their mac’n cheese. I thought the whole things was average or below average in terms of taste and presentation. Overall, I thought there were also WAY too many pickles! In every sandwich there were pickles. And for a non-pickle-lover like me, it’s not the most convenient. In conclusion, I probably wouldn’t eat there again, unless it was a dire emergency.
While I was in Athens, Greece, I went shopping with my aunt at the huge, luxurious, and foodie-friendly mall. After lots and lots of shopping, we eventually decided to get something to eat. First, we decided to stop off at Goody’s. Goody’s is a burger house (probably one of the best) only in Greece. When I went, I ordered the Extreme Club Crispy. And when it says extreme, it literally means: EXTREME. It was basically a jumbo platter with delicious club sandwiches and a butt load of fries. But boy! Was it delicious. I ended up having to give away 2 of the sandwiches because that platter was way too big for me to eat all by myself. The sandwiches had inside crispy fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, sauce (which I’m assuming was mayo), and bacon. and, it was a two layer sandwich, which means that there were three slices of bread, and twice the amount of fillings! And all of this was held together by one measly toothpick. As a refreshment, I got some Sprite.

A few weeks ago, I had gone to Whole Foods to experience not only the wonders of a new grocery store, but to try out the food I had heard so much about from my mom. When I went, I had tried a delicious pizza. On it had buffalo chicken, and chives. After destroying this masterpiece, I had tried some of the hibachi noodles. I loves the concept, just hated how they were cold. I just recently went back again, and this time picked out some chicken wontons. As delicious as they were, they were cold, and kind of hard. Maybe, I would have liked them to be hotter…. Both times that I had went I had a bottle of Bai: Panama Peach Antioxidant Infusion. Now if you haven’t tried this already, it’s a must have. Delicious, and very healthy for your skin. I also had tried some of their mochi japanese ice cream. DELICIOUS, and, once again, a must have. Though Whole Foods has some definite Food-Faults, they are definitely worth checking out.
A few days ago, my family and I decided to dine at the Cheesecake Factory. If you love cheesecake and delicious portions, you’ve probably come here before, and LOVED it. Like I have.
I just recently tried the S’mores Cheesecake because of my uncontrollable s’more obsession, and totally fell in love. This cheesecake is a must have. Every. Single. Time. Trust me.
Not the healthiest option. Nope, definitely not. Not the most affordable. Yeah, no. But, one of the more visually and deliciously tempting ones. One of the best. Just, be sure to have a glass of water next to you, because this sure is sweet.
Somerville Central Pizza is a small pizza place in the center of Somerville. The pizza there really isn’t as delicious as I would have liked. My family and I always receive pick up, so by the time it comes home, the cheese has stuck to the toppings. I also don’t really like the taste of it in general, so I mainly snack on the wings and caesar salad. But, this pizza place is actually kind of reasonable compared to the other pizza places out here in New Jersey.
